VISA health check

If you are planning a business trip, to visit, work or live abroad you might have to meet certain health requirements before a visa can be granted. This means that you may be asked to undergo some tests for instance HIV. These requirements will differ from country to country so if you need advice, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to help.

We should be able to perform most investigations required for the visa and get results within a few days. If you have specific tests that need to be done please email your enquiry and we will be glad to give you an idea of cost and timescale. for results.

Once we have your results back, we can co complete the relevant parts on the visa form for you and give you a copy of results.

We also know that some countries are very strict on some conditions such as HIV syphilis and more, and that people feel quite nervous about turning up in a foreign country where these tests are performed before they are allowed to start employment.

We are happy to give advice on and perform pre departure testing so that there are no nasty surprises when you arrive.

Some countries will also want you to be screened for TB. This can include Mantoux testing. This tests your sensitivity to Tuberculin and gives an idea of whether you are at risk or currently infected with TB.

We are able to perform Mantoux testing onsite. It is important to note that once we have performed the test we need to read the result 48 hours later so please make sure you have enough time before your travels.

In addition if it is required we can perform a Chest X-ray on site and this can be reviewed by a consultant with results available in a few days.
