Pre-employment medicals and health screening service

At samedaydoctor, Canary Wharf, we strive to offer a complete medical service to our patients and we constantly work on improving the services available to our patients. We recognise that you are busy and that your time is valuable. When you need to see a doctor this should be possible on the same day and we will try to accommodate you as far as possible.

For your convenience we now perform pre-employment medicals and full health screening, which support you in starting a new challenge. We offer a bespoke service tailored to your exact employment requirements.

Our pre-employment medicals health screening process

If you have to undergo pre employment health screening, which might include bloods and or X-rays, we can usually perform most of the required investigations on site with results available within a few days at most.

In order to make the process as easy as possible for you, we ask you to fax us the relevant forms before your visit*, in order for us to see which investigations are required and to be able to tailor our health screening service at Canary Wharf to your needs and give you an accurate cost. It also means that you save time on the day.

After receiving your enquiry we will contact you on the same day with an estimate of the costs and the time it will take. For more information about prices for our pre employment medical screening check our fees page. We can perform most health questionnaire examinations onsite, including:

• Chest X-rays
• ECG’s
• Bloods

If you need a formal eye test we ask that you have this done prior to your appointment if possible as we cannot perform eye tests onsite.

Once we have received all of your results we can complete your questionnaire and sign off the medical.

The only time you will have to put aside is for the consultation and examination which can usually be done in a 30 minutes consultation.

To use this service we require a booking deposit of £100.

If you need to reschedule we ask that you please give us as much notice as possible. As long as you give us 24 hours’ notice we can reschedule or if you need to cancel refund your deposit minus a £25 admin charge.

*We will keep all received forms and requirement in confidence.
