Executive health screen
Our most popular screen is the Executive Health Screen. This is a 50 minute consultation with our doctor who will discuss your relevant concerns and tailor the screen to your needs. It is recommended that you fast for 8 hours before your screen for accurate blood results.
The Executive Health Screen includes: (fees)
- Discussion about any concerns, past medical and family history
- Questions reviewing the different systems of the body
- weight, height, BMI, blood pressure
- Full physical examination, with particular emphasis on areas of concern
- Peak Flow lung test
- Men may have testicular examination
- Women can have a breast and/or gynae examination (optional)
- In men over 40 we can perform a prostate check (optional)
- Resting ECG (heart tracing)
- Urinalysis
- Blood tests for anaemia, infection, full blood count with differential count, liver and kidney and thyroid function, blood sugar, cholesterol profile, gout and more (extra blood test can be performed at additional costs)
- Smear test for women (optional – this will be at an additional cost please see our fees page)
- Prostate Blood test (PSA) for men over 40
After your screening is done we will contact you with the results of your blood tests and any additional tests within a day or two and discuss initial findings over the phone. Once we have all your results it will be reviewed by our doctor who will then compile a report summarising the examination and findings, with some advice on any potential problems and suggestions as to how to address any problems.
We aim to have the report sent to you within 10 days of your screen. Once you have received this we encourage you to read through and call us if there are any further steps you would like us to take.
If anything abnormal is found in your screen then we can suggest treatment options/lifestyle changes or refer you for further tests, including ultrasound scans or MRI/CT Scans, at one of our local private hospitals.
We can also offer a private referral to a specialist of your choice or recommended by us for further follow up if this is required.
